La hiérarchie des banques dans les émissions d'actions au UK au cours des 10 dernières années

FT Alphaville donne ces statistiques qui couvrent les 10 dernières années et qui montrent que JP Morgan est n°1 en terme de fees (ceci incluant le "broker de la reine" Cazenove) devant RBS (Hoare Gowett) et UBS , Goldman Sachs étant n°1 dans la direction ("bookrunner") d'émissions de capital ("right issues").

FT Alphaville exhume ces statistiques car l'Office du Fair Trading au UK vient d'annoncer qu'il va enquêter sur ce marché . L'OFT a indiqué qu'il allait s'intéresser aux sujets suivants:

".How underwriting and related services are provided, including the level of competition for the work and how these different services- such as advice, arranging the issue and the actual underwriting are sold.

· How underwriting services are purchased, including the information available to buyers and the incentives on them.

· How the regulatory environment affects the provision of these services."
